We stayed here for three weeks in a 38' motor home. Sites are pretty level and spacious. Picnic tables are on a cement pedestal and covered but placed in an unusual and awkward place. Weekly rate was $150.00 for full hookups which includes cable and 50A. The campground is near a light rail (Rail Runner) station. This is very convenient and reasonable for visiting Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Proximity to rail also brings noise! Overall this is a very nice park and we will use it again.

We camped here in a 38' motor home. Hickories is a town of Owego park. The staff are great; very pleasant and helpful. There are no sewers but there is a pump out service. The bathrooms & showers are clean. As noted there are no reservations and there is a 30 day limit on your stay. Sites vary but most will handle big rigs. Many are shaded. There is an outdoor amphitheater for music events and there is almost always something going on in the park. All in all this is a great value!

A very nice park. Staff were friendly and helpful. They are professionals. The sites are gravel and tough to level up on because it appears that the CG is on the side of a hill down to the lake. We were on #77 and I had to block under the front wheels because the jacks had them off the ground. Sites are also pretty narrow. Can't swim in the lake - bummer!

This was our second stay. The park is very convenient to the casino with an on demand shuttle. All sites are pull throughs. Many sites are pitched badly lengthwise and from side to side making leveling very difficult if not impossible. We couldn't level and we watched 3 or 4 people give up and move off the site they had been assigned. It has a nice little pool. The laundry is small but nice.

This was our second visit. We had a weekly rate (Good Sam) which was 6 nights with 1 night free! It's a very nice park with a great view of the Mississippi from the front row. I was annoyed by the fact that I requested a front row (river view)site but was told they were all booked. During our stay sites were continually opening and transients in and out. I booked a month in advance for two weeks. Not again! Gravel roads were very dusty. Police patrolled frequently which is at first comforting then begins to be worrisome. WiFi was spotty to non existent. The pool is very nice.

Great access to the city. The shuttle was invaluable for the casino and French Quarter. WiFi was spotty to non- existent. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Gravel roads dusty (when dry!)and tough to ride a bicycle on. Park was under water with Katrina but the owners have done a good job bringing it back.
